Shim J Palladan has made his career as an entrepreneur who walks the fine line between human emotions, computers and commerce. He is the founder and COO at Invendes (formerly known as e//axioms consulting), one of the leading web marketing firms in India. He is the master juggler of all the disciplines that merge at Invendes to create effective online communications.
Shim started his career at The Times of India as a product executive and later joined the account planning division at Draft Direct Worldwide, one of the largest Direct Marketing companies in the world. He had the opportunity to plan for brands like Wipro, Adobe, SPSS, Dbase and Standard Chartered.
He left Draft Direct Worldwide in 1996 to start 'Sans Morale', a marketing and communication consulting company, managing such accounts as Birla 3M, Sony India, Trac Fujico, Coats Viyella and a host of IT accounts. In 1998, the lure of the internet grabbed him and was involved with a few serious dotcoms and other Internet business initiatives.
Prior to starting Invendes Consulting, he was with Consolidated Data Systems as the Head of Strategic Planning and was responsible for setting up and directing the interactive division at CDS. The job involved an emphasis on strategic planning for a wave of dot coms that dominated that era.
Since then he has been retained to formulate both online and offline strategies by various 'internet start ups' and brick and mortar companies alike. Shim holds a Master's degree in Business Management and specialized certification in Internet Marketing.

His domain expertise is in consumer businesses and life-sciences, but his passion extends to making a mark in the education sector and in Art.
Besides visioning and strategizing he is also happy to roll up his sleeves and work closely with founding teams on challenging issues that confront and confound early-stage ventures and helping them to attain the next level.
